I ♥ Hype Machine

merch-shirt1I think my friend Katie recommended this site to me. If she didn’t she still probably deserves credit for it.

Hypemachine (hypem.com) is an awesome place to find new music for free. It has a great system that keeps music fresh and covers all genres. You find such a cool mix of music and you can add music to your favourites to listen to later.

Inception You Got A Brother Dreamin’ Dreamin’

MV5BMjAxMzY3NjcxNF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNTI5OTM0Mw@@._V1._SY317_Oh damn Inception was a great movie. I think I had like ten people recommend it to me. I finally took their advice and checked it out. Blew my mind.

I don’t watch many movies and this one really kept my attention. Normal Hollywood suspended belief doesn’t interest me but this kept me right in the story despite being so crazy mind bending. I would recommend it for anyone, and I guess others would as well since it is now #8 on the IMDB top 250 (at the time of posting). I don’t always agree with IMDB, but it means something to be up there with Shawshank Redemption.

The GSP vs. Anderson Silva Fight Doesn’t Interest Me

UFC-129-PosterSeeing Fedor lose and lose bad twice made me realize that seeing your heroes get creamed is no fun.You want your legends to live on forever. When you put a much naturally larger Anderson Silva up against George St-Pierre any fight will be lop sided. Silva is naturally 185 – 205 where GSP is a clear 170.

Stylistically it might be a bit more interesting, but it still wouldn’t be fair. Silva is one of the best strikers in the game, a jedi as he has been called and calls himself, while GSP is the most complete overall fighter. You remember when you used to play video games and you had to choose between the guy with the even stats and the one with the single major advantage? Well Silva doesn’t have many disadvantages, but being prone to want to stand over work on the ground is probably his biggest weakness. GSP is so intelligent he would obviously see ground and pound as his ticket and shoot in early (see Chael). This all sounds well and good and we run it through our heads, but do we want either of them to lose?

Advice You Didn’t Ask For: How to Set S.M.A.R.T. Goals

I have been reading a lot of self-help books lately. Actually I hate the fact they are called ‘self-help’ really… I think that if you are not helping yourself by reading books containing techniques from the most successful people then you are really on your own out there in the world with no advantages over the average person.

Changing Menu Titles SBO

Since when can we change the menu titles in SAP Business One??  I was doing some document numbering and I found this field called “Change Menu Names” in the document numbering form.  Occasionally I had a reason to change these names and it wasn’t really possible before without B1UP or SDK.

Mint.com: 3 Reasons to Track your Finances

When it comes to tracking your financial statements I will be honest. It’s BORING (and I love accounting, weird I know). I used to make all my payments on time, double check everything but I didn’t really take too close of a look unless something was way out of whack.

I stumbled across an app on my iPhone called Mint. I had been looking for a way to get a better handle on my expenses and I have determined that this is the service to do that.
